  PRODUCT OVERVIEW
All front mount intercoolers are not created equal!

CP-E ΔCore™ FMIC is different from the competition, and we encourage you to peruse the fine details: The 2.25" hard piping we use helps reduce turbo lag (with this kit there is virtually none!). It is compatible with just about any cold air intake on the market. The kit comes flanged for a stock bypass valve (which you may recirculate or vent). It also includes a custom silicone upper radiator hose and a new, larger capacity power steering cooler. And this isn't even considering the extraordinary performance numbers!

CP-E ΔCore™ FMIC posted an 82% peak thermal efficiency (compared to the stock 63% efficiency), and cut the stock pressure drop in half! That translates into a much cooler boosted air charge. This ultimately helps power production and reduces the chance of engine knock and reduces the load on the turbocharger. You can forget about heat soak and the "flat" feeling you get from the resulting retarded ignition timing after sitting at a traffic light.

Selecting a good intercooler kit can be a daunting task. The choice becomes even more confusing when you consider how much conflicting information there is about intercoolers on the internet.

"Is bigger better in the world of intercoolers?"
"What's a good thermal efficiency?"
"Will the FMIC add turbo lag?"
"Why is the pressure drop important?"

These are all important questions to ask, but most companies are hesitant to disclose these technical specifics, if they even have them at all! That's why CP-E has gone ahead and assembled a document explaining not only why the intercooler was designed the way it was, but also how the kit performs on the street. CP-E justifies this design by showing you exactly how well it performs as compared to the stock intercooler. How else is one to make an educated decision without such information?
